President’s Letter

Dear Library Community,

Each year we ask you to help us support library needs not covered by town or trustee funds.

In 2011, the Friends contributed to:

• Augmenting the library’s book, DVD, and CD collections;
• Year-round programming for children and young adults;
• Upgrading public and staff computer technology;
• Purchasing online reference resources;
• Funding professional development opportunities for staff; and
• Sponsoring Words Are Wonderful author-in-residence James Preller.

How can you help?

• Renew your membership or become a new member.
• Support our sale of used books by donating to us your good condition books September through March.
• Browse and buy from our selection of used books in our Book Nook.
• Volunteer for and come to our annual Book Sale, Silent Auction, and Café, held each April in the Williamstown Elementary School gym.
• Purchase our cookbook, Cooking With Friends, for $10 at the library.
